 Smaller than expected, but a lovely product July 17, 2010

I bought this lamp without really paying attention to the text, which is my own fault.
When the lamp arrived, I was surprised at how small it was, as I was expecting a normal sized glitter lamp, but it was only a miniature one.
It did state the dimensions on the description, but I didn't read these properly when I ordered it.
As it happens, my young daughter loves it, and I must admit, it does look nice when its on, but I might not have bought this had I seen it first.

After reading the reviews, I was prepared for what I received. My four year loves it, it was the thing he most enjoyed in his Christmas stocking.

This is an attractive little item, with the emphasis on little. Fortunately I was partially prepared for this by another review. Also as noted by someone else there is no on/off switch so the choice is either on all the time or keep re-inserting the plastic strip to impede the battery contacts. Even so a nice gift for WALL-E fans!

It is really tiny. There is no way it is 15cm High.
I will most likely return it as once paid the shipping and the VAT spent nearly £10 on it, and my three and a half year old will probably just lose it.
It is a nice concept but just too small espcially for the price of it.

I bought this as a stocking filler for my 4 years old son. He loves Wall-e. I thought it would be a little bigger but its still nice. I cant see an off switch/button so might go through the batteries, either that you will have to take out the batteries when you want it off. Its got on the packaging that its not a toy. Seems very sturdy and bounce proof to a certain degree.
